On the subject of wrestlers who can kick like hell but have found themselves muted by WWE, it's time to address the King of Strong Style and Intercontinental Champion himself, Shinsuke Nakamura.

Nakamura didn't get gifted the title of the King of Strong Style; he earned it. Watching his matches in NJPW made you wonder whether any of his opponents could step out of the ring without bruises and concussions, as his knees were basically hammers.

Nowadays, he's not quite so powerful, as WWE's safer style means he can't bring his destructive kicks to such a high calibre. Still, there's no doubt that his legs are weapons as his propensity for cracking skulls with his shins is ever-present, even if it's not as dangerous.

It's easy to see how Nakamura found this skill, as his early days as a Super Rookie in Japan saw him fighting in MMA matches and honing his submissions and strikes. Although his MMA career was limited, he implemented the lessons he learned and has been doing so ever since, which is why he's an easy choice for this list.
