Neither Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson nor Mick Foley need any introduction to people with even a passing interest in wrestling. The Rock has become famous outwith the sport by making a successful acting career and starring in many blockbuster films while the image of Foley being thrown off the top of Hell in a Cell by The Undertaker is one of the most iconic images in wrestling history.
Mankind was one of Mick's personas (alongside Dude Love and Cactus Jack) and the boiler-room dwelling masked wrestler got the fans on side with his awkward charm and the presumably awful-smelling sock that he used in his finisher.
The Rock was a multi-time champion who oozed charisma and had audiences all over the world hanging on his every word.
While it was obvious the two men were excellent workers (and by all accounts, very nice people outside of the ring), there wasn't much similarity between the two characters.
So when they teamed up to form The Rock 'n' Sock Connection, there was no way that anyone could have predicted how over they would be. Here are just ten of their many great moments.
