6. Second And Third Reigns
Contrary to how they could have been initially viewed as either a gimmicky partnership or a one-off feel-good moment, the Rock 'n' Sock Connection managed to hold the Tag Team Championship a grand total of three separate times.
As mentioned before, when they initially won the titles from The Big Show and Undertaker, they only held them for a little over a week before they lost them back to the same pairing. Later that same month, they managed to regain the titles at a 3 on 2 deficit and this time held onto the belts for... three days.
They lost to the newly-reformed team of Billy Gunn and Road Dogg (the New Age Outlaws) who held them for around a month before dropping them back for the Rock 'n' Sock to have their third and final reign.
While none of these reigns were especially long or illustrious, it felt like it struck the balance between having them win it once as a pure novelty and realising that this duo would work best if not rammed down the audiences throats indefinitely. Shortly after losing their titles, the two returned to feuding as singles.
