10 Best Rock 'N' Sock Connection WWE Moments
2. Foley Trolls The Rock
One of the single greatest interactions between The Rock and Mick Foley happened right in the middle of the ring, in front of a live audience and it's fairly obvious that it wasn't planned... for one man anyway.
On the 3 July 2000, The Rock was champion and entered the ring while Mick was addressing the crowd. The Rock recounted everything that the two had been through together - the I Quit matches, the ladder matches etc. - and welcomed Mick with a shake of the hand.
Foley gave The Rock a very congratulatory spiel, listing his great accomplishments before asking him how it feels to be so successful as a multi-time champion.
Obviously this was an ad-libbed question as The Rock took a second before even attempting to answer. When he finally did, he was cut off by Foley shouting "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK", using The Rock's own catchphrase against him.
Foley then rolled out, the audience popped, the commentators laughed, The Rock corpsed a little and actually smiled as a jubilant lap of honour was taken with the former Mankind leading the crowd in a chant of "FOLEY, FOLEY, FOLEY".
A genuinely hilarious and feel good moment for sure.
