No Way Out 2004 may be little more than a one-match show, but when that match is one of the greatest bouts in WWE history, it's enough to make the whole card special.

In the main event, dominant WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar defended his title against Eddie Guerrero. Guerrero was riding an incredible wave of popularity, and just prior to the bout, had cut his famous "addiction" promo on Lesnar - so the crowd wanted him to win more than anything.

The two had an incredible match that saw Lesnar deliver the best performance of his career - he absolutely overwhelmed Guerrero in a way that would make "Suplex City" Brock nervous. Guerrero battled back, though, and some timely interference from Goldberg saved the challenger's attempt. Finally, he countered an F5 into a DDT, then hit the Frog Splash for the win.

The rest of the card was largely forgettable, though a three-way match between Kurt Angle, John Cena and The Big Show was pretty good.
