10 Best Stables In Wrestling Right Now

5. The New Day

There are two arguments against The New Day's inclusion:-

1. The trio's act is old hat, having scarcely evolved over the past few years.

2. Xavier Woods is currently on the shelf and will be for the foreseeable future, leaving Big E and Kofi Kingston to continue as a tag team, not a proper stable.

Point one is fair game, as enjoyment is largely subjective. If you don't like watching The New Day goofing around with trombones, pop culture references, and hip thrusts, more power to you. The second? Woods is still creating things with his mates (their podcast is a hoot), he just isn't on television at the moment. They qualify.

The New Day's endearing popularity and marketability are undeniable. The trio is regularly amongst WWE's top merch-shifters and always have live crowds amped up six years on from debuting, making them an oddity in modern American wrestling: a long-established babyface act who haven't faced major backlash in ages. Their lofty position in and around the Tag Team Title scene is therefore earned and each member is both an outstanding wrestler and a great entertainer, whatever they're asked to do.
