10 Best Stables In Wrestling Right Now

4. The Elite

Can what is fractured ever be whole again?

Probably not, in The Elite's case. The AEW power group has been bickering since the promotion's inception and have only grown further apart since Hangman Page, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks wrestled Revolution's story-driven classic. Page is now drinking buddies with the Bucks' rivals, FTR, and while Kenny remains the man in the middle, increasing flashes of 'The Cleaner' keep breaking through his babyface veneer. As for Cody? He's off doing his own thing with the TNT Championship, teasing a new Four Horsemen while Tully Blanchard watches on from the bleachers.

This outstanding, layered storytelling is primarily why The Elite feature so highly here. They aren't a united front on television but each member is playing an important role in the grand unravelling of a mega-faction. Whether it ends with them coming back together or splitting apart doesn't even matter: the characters and their conflicting goals and desires almost guarantee a satisfying outcome.

As far as success goes, Page and Omega are amongst the world's finest tag teams and six months deep on a title run, while Cody is a weekly star-making highlight with the TNT strap. That's elite.
