Always one of TNA/Impact Wrestling's most entertaining acts, the Latin American Xchange returned with a new lineup in 2017. Founding members Konnan and Homicide were back in supporting roles, but the group's former muscle, Hernandez, was nowhere to be found. In came livewire indie tag team EYFBO (rechristened Ortiz & Santana) along with the fiery Diamante, and soon, the group were flying once more.

LAX were immediately inserted into the Tag Title hunt. Their first reign came in March 2017, and after regaining the belts from Ohio Versus Everything last November, they're fast closing in on 300 days across their two individual runs.

The group's dynamic is what makes them so special. Latin American thug characters have been done before, but never so effectively, and Konnan remains one of the most believable talkers in the business. Him and Homicide keep LAX tied to their roots, and in Ortiz and Santana, Impact have unearthed an all-action tag team more than capable of running any duos division on the planet. They've been a ray of light throughout a turbulent period for Impact, and must be considered among the promotion's biggest assets.
