10 Best Stables In Wrestling Right Now

8. Sanity

While the Sanity gimmick has regularly drifted into pure, unbridled corniness throughout its lifespan, and it took the quartet a long time to get over with the NXT crowd, Eric Young, Nikki Cross, Alexander Wolfe, and Killain Dain have gone all in on their act as developmental's agents of chaos, and they've done well.

The male side of the group were NXT Tag Team Champions for over 100 days in 2017. They eventually lost the belts to Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish, but have continued to look strong in their many wars with the brand's hot new power trio. Cross, meanwhile, is still waiting for her push, but has dived into her wacky character without hesitation, and had a fantastic Last Woman Standing match with Asuka last year.

Cross and Dain are especially strong in the ring, but Wolfe and the veteran Young aren't far behind them, with the latter particularly effective in his role as the group's mouthpiece. Now that their NXT stint is running out of steam, it wouldn't be a shock to see them turn up on Raw or SmackDown before the year's end.
