10 Best Stretcher Matches In WWE History

6. Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay (Cyber Sunday 2007)

Following his return from injury in the summer of 2007, Rey Mysterio engaged in a feud with Finlay for the remainder of the year. The two traded several victories on the SmackDown brand, but it wasn't until their heated encounter at Cyber Sunday that things got personal between the two. Finlay had made it his goal before to incapacitate Mysterio to the point where his only way out of the arena would be on a stretcher. Thus, it was no surprise that the Stretcher match stipulation barely beat out No Disqualification and Shillelagh on a Pole match in the fan voting at Cyber Sunday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-0vzj2Y7UE It may not have been the most memorable feud, but their series of matches in fall 2007 definitely delivered and their Stretcher match was no exception. The two put their fun chemistry on full display by kicking off the show on a high note, much like the Stretcher match between Randy Orton and Rob Van Dam did earlier on in the year. Finlay brought his signature shillelagh into the fray regardless, but Mysterio was able to overcome the odds by wheeling Finlay over the finish line for the victory.
