10 Best Survivor Series Teams Of All Time
5. The All Americans (Lex Luger, The Steiner Brothers, & The Undertaker)
For awhile, it was pretty commonplace to see the Undertaker carrying an American flag, especially during his American Badass phase about ten years ago. However, in 1993, it was unthinkable that an undead zombie from beyond the grave would be patriotic. But, that's exactly what we got when the Undertaker teamed up with Lex Luger and the Steiner Brothers to give us one of the most star-powered Survivor Series teams of all-time.
The addition of the Undertaker was solely to provide the aforementioned star power because, leading up to it, his spot was occupied by Tatanka. When Vince looked at the match, he decided to give it a more main event feel so he had Tatanka kayfabe injured by Yokozuna and inserted Crush on the heel side to replace Quebecer Pierre.
We ended up with the All Americans taking on the thrown-together team of the Foreign Fanatics: Yokozuna, Ludvig Borga, Quebecer Jacques, and Crush (who wasn't even foreign but he had Mr. Fuji for a manager so I guess that counts).
While the storyline certainly wasn't anything to write home about, the actual team is made up of four Hall of Fame talents who held titles throughout their career. So, quite honestly, if you just accept that the team is awesome on paper and don't actually watch the match, you'll be alright.
