5. Steiner Brothers - Steiner DDT

Rick and Scott Steiner had a whole host of finishing moves at their disposal, all coming from the electric chair position. They could use the Steinerizer, which saw Scotty pick up their opponent in order for Rick to hit a diving bulldog.

There was also the Steiner Device, the brothers take on the famous finishing move of the Road Warriors (more on that later).

For me, the Steiner DDT was their most destructive move. You have to remember that this was the 1990s, and the DDT hadn't been spammed into irrelevance.

Hit from the standard position it was a knockout blow, so Scotty Steiner hitting it from the ropes as you wait patiently on the shoulders of Rick was an instant critical.

Bonus points for Scott always managing to pose for the crowd before delivering it of course.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
