10 Best Tag Team Finishing Moves Of All Time

4. The Young Bucks - Meltzer Driver

You've seen the spike piledriver, now see the wacky, flippy modern day version of that move. The Young Bucks are up there with the Briscoe Brothers and reDRagon at the top of tag team wrestling today.

Their matches may be a little heavy on the theatrics, but the ability of the brothers Jackson can't be denied.

The most ridiculous (and therefore most awesome) of their many finishers is the wonderfully named Meltzer Driver (five stars!). A variation on the spike piledriver mentioned earlier, the Meltzer Driver sees the traditional piledriver exchanged for a tombstone variation and the chap adding weight from the second rope exchanged for a springboard 450 accentuation.

It is preposterous, and it is wonderful.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
