Gosh, the word 'underrated' really does get thrown around a lot doesn't it? Perry Saturn and John Kronus were as unstoppable as it got in Extreme Championship Wrestling, yet they rarely get the credit that they deserve.

The duo managed to be physically imposing yet technically adept and impressively athletic at the same time. The name well and truly fit.

They were particularly innovative, and were the first team to use what they termed Total Elimination. For Saturn and Kronus this was a combination leg sweep and spinning heel kick, hit with great force with little build up.

The move has been varied and used by other teams over the years, but none with the success of the Eliminators.

It was intense way to finish a match. Just ask Mikey Whipwreck.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
