10 Best Tag Team Title Matches Ever

5. TLC I - SummerSlam 2000

TLC II Jeff Hardy Christian

Following WrestleMania 2000, The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, and Edge and Christian continued to trade the World Tag Team Titles amongst each other. Edge and Christian also adopted a new attitude, becoming increasingly obnoxious and attacking opponents with the "Con-Chair-To" - a double chairshot to the head.

That served to make chairs the signature weapons of Edge and Christian, much as The Hardyz were associated with ladders and The Dudleyz with tables. With that in mind, the first-ever Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match was booked for SummerSlam. The belts would need to be retrieved like in a regular ladder match, but the ringside area would be littered with tables and chairs.

Early in the match, Christian was put through a table with a 3D, and Jeff Hardy soon put himself through one with a missed Swanton Bomb. The bumps only got worse, with Bubba Ray and Matt Hardy both separately getting tipped off ladders and sent through stacked tables at ringside. Eventually, Jeff Hardy tried to grab the titles, but when the ladder was taken away, he was left hanging. Christian hit him with a ladder to make him fall, and then he and Edge climbed the ladder to get the belts.
