10 Best Tag-Team Matches In WrestleMania History

6. Demolition Vs. Colossal Connection ('Mania VI)

There's something almost sad about watching the great Andre The Giant look decidedly uncomfortable even standing on the ring apron. Stick on WrestleMania VI, and the mammoth mountain of a man features in the second match on the show, teaming with Haku to face Demolition.

Andre didn't really do much during the bout, but this is regarded as one of the most poignant moments of his career.

Demolition were on fire as babyfaces, and fans were eager to see them smash (no pun intended) the Colossal Connection and become the first ever 3-time WWF Tag-Team Champions in history.

There's no way any other result would have felt right, and Haku must take tremendous credit for carrying the workload during his time teaming with the legendary Andre. Ax and Smash on the babyface side worked hard too, and the match actually holds up to repeat viewings.

After Demolition had bagged the gold, it was great seeing Andre The Giant turn on Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan and leave to a heroic. The Giant definitely deserved that one, and - to quote the legendary Gorilla Monsoon - 'the noise was deafening'.
