Out of all the performers in WWE's recent history, Pat McAfee has seemingly had the most amount of freedom on the microphone whilst he is cutting promos. McAfee's rise into being a genuine WWE Superstar has been quite extraordinary, as he started in NXT as a pre-show panelist before engaging in his first feud with former champion Adam Cole.

His feud with Cole was legitimately one of the best things later period black and gold NXT produced, as it showcased the former NFL punter in one of the best debut matches of all time. The best part about the feud was the fact that Pat blew away fans and outdone most of the WWE roster through his promos, which were as captivating as anything the company has produced in years.

He has since been given more spotlight to talk alongside another Cole as part of the SmackDown announce team, which has been a refreshing change to the company's usual commentary. McAfee's feuds with Theory and Happy Corbin have only further showcased how talented he is in every part of the wrestling business, particularly as a talker.
