10 Best Talkers On WWE’s Full Time Roster

4. The New Day

If there is one act in WWE that can always be relied upon to bring the fun with microphone in hand, it’s your boys The New Day.

The longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history are constantly coming up with new and imaginative ways of trolling either their opponents, or each other. Some of what they do can be overly silly, but it works because it is real and not forced onto them by out-of-touch writers, as so much of today's ‘humour' is in WWE.

The trio possess the type of comedic chemistry not seen in wrestling since the days of The Rock ’n’ Sock Connection and, crucially, cater to the entire audience. They may look like children’s party clowns, but their jokes are current and aimed at older fans, who can begrudgingly accept the parts they don’t like because all three can really go in the ring.

Xavier Woods is a great talker on his own - eloquent, witty and charming - but The New Day are stronger than the sum of their parts, and that is what makes them so special.
