As Mick Foley will try to tell you, it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog that counts. And in the diminutive form of Rey Mysterio, we have perhaps the most telling example of that phrase.

Mysterio made a total of six appearances in Survivor Series elimination matches, eliminating an admirable eight victims along the way and ending with an even more impressive record of five wins and just the one defeat.

That one loss was of course the aforementioned beating he took from Roman Reigns in 2013, but given that it came at the twilight of his WWE career I think we can overlook that one blemish.

Mysterio’s also had a pretty good knack of lasting through to the bitter end—something that our earlier entrant Christian struggled with. In total, Mysterio’s finished as one of multiple survivors in three of his five victories, making him a useful addition to any team.
