10 Best Team Players In Survivor Series History

7. The Rock

On paper, the Rock’s numbers may not be quite as strong as those of Rey Mysterio; he has just two wins and seven eliminations under his belt, although admittedly he was rather prolific with his septet coming from just three appearances.

Still, it’s the significance of those victories and eliminations that make the Rock such a coveted teammate when it comes to Survivor Series matches. His first win arrived in what was actually his official WWE debut; a four-on-four clash at Madison Square Garden at the 1996 PPV. Undaunted by the occasion, a rookie Rocky scored two eliminations to finish as his side’s sole survivor, but it was five years later that we’d see his best performance at the Thanksgiving showcase.

Representing Team WWF, he was instrumental in helping his side to victory, in what was arguably the most important elimination match in the show’s storied history (with kayfabe, of course).

Rock took out a star-studded cast of Booker T, Kurt Angle and finally Stone Cold Steve Austin to finish the match as the sole survivor after a 45-minute epic. Not a bad pick at all for Vince McMahon’s Team WWF.
