10 Best Things About WWE Network After One Year

7. Original Specials (Ultimate Warrior) And WWE 24

Producing original content is essential to the success of WWE Network. One of the bigger complaints among fans is that they really haven't produced enough fresh and new stuff. There are two original specials that stand out as must see shows that every WWE fan needs to see. A few weeks after WrestleMania 30, WWE Network released a documentary about the Ultimate Warrior called "The Ultimate Legend." It's a one hour story about his time in WWE, the influence he had on so many others and there are some really candid interviews with guys like Sting, who actually made his WWE debut in a way because of his participation in this. His death was sad and tragic, but at least fans can watch this to truly appreciate this Hall of Famer. The WWE 24 special about WrestleMania 30 was posted in late January in its own section. There are plans for other WWE 24 series episodes, but we don't know what those will be about. This one featured a lot of backstage clips including when Shawn Michaels congratulated Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan and The Rock for doing a great job in their opening promo. It was also very touching to see how much Connor the Crusher influenced so many in WWE. Try to make it through that one without crying. There are some other really cool features in there like Daniel Bryan's journey to WrestleMania 30, the preview of the Cena/Lesnar match from SummerSlam, The Shield's journey to SummerSlam as singles stars and a closer look at The Usos as well. Hopefully WWE does more original series features for the WWE Network because they are terrific.
