Wrestling. Ultimately, we’re all going to be in New York and New Jersey that weekend because we’re there to see The Wrestling. Regardless of what you like or who you’re a fan of, chances are the weekend's best wrestling is going to take place in Madison Square Garden.

For, well, forever now, Ring of Honor and New Japan have had genuine claims to be putting out the best in-ring action in the entire world. Sometimes WWE surprise us and NXT does steal the entire show four times a year, but by and large it’s these two companies that attract the real purists.

The G1 Supercard brings these two promotions together for arguably the weekend’s in-ring highlight. Jay White will face Kazuchika Okada, Taiji Ishimori takes on Dragon Lee and Bandido, there’s Ospreay vs. Cobb, Rush vs. Dalton Castle, Jay Lethal defending the ROH world title against Marty Scurll and Matt Taven in a ladder match, and the tasty prospect of Tetsuya Naito clashing with Kota Ibushi.

It's an absolutely massive card and it’s taking place in WWE’s historic home of Madison Square Garden. Nothing short of history in the making.
