4. WaleMania

WrestleMania wouldn’t be WrestleMania without WaleMania. No @s please, both the show and the man behind it are bonafide institutions of the weekend now, without a single match actually having to take place behind its doors.

OK so, context: Wale is a chart-topping rapper, singer and songwriter who just so happens to absolutely love wrestling. Every year he rocks up wherever 'Mania is, puts on the best party of the entire week where he hosts a fan festival, concert and live podcast, and anyone who’s anyone turns up.

This year guest of honour is Booker T. We’re expecting Lio Rush, Samoa Joe, MVP and others to be performing in some capacity, and music is provided by Smoke DZA, Westside Gunn and the G4 Boyz.

That’s just who’s there in an official capacity as well; we attended for WrestleMania 33 and the background of every video has half of the WWE roster hanging out in the background. We also interviewed Dave Meltzer in a room that, we presume, had a lot of incense burning in it.
