5. NXT: The Class Of 2018

There's an earned sense of cynicism when it comes to NXT wrestlers on the main roster. WWE, unfortunately, have become extremely adept at screwing seemingly white-hot developmental prospects up when they hit Raw or SmackDown, and the problem isn't going away anytime soon. Regardless, their current Performance Center class is absolute stacked.

On the women's side are established world-beaters in Shayna Baszler, Kairi Sane, and Io Shirai, along with the potential-packed Bianca Belair and Nikki Cross. The men are well-represented by the likes of Matt Riddle, Adam Cole, Keith Lee, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, The Velveteen Dream, and Ricochet. Then come the tag teams, with the Undisputed Era and War Raiders no less convincing than any main roster tandem.

This is only scratching the surface, and even wrestlers like Dominik Dijakovic and Marcel Barthel (who barely make television) are laced with potential.

Triple H has assembled an absurdly deep NXT class. It won't work out for everyone on the main roster, but for now, let's just enjoy them as they are, doing their thing in WWE's most consistent in-ring brand, where they're free to work without widescale restrictions.
