Imagine travelling back in time ten years and telling your past self that in 2018 we'd be seeing AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan competing for the WWE Championship. In fact, imagine telling yourself that just a year ago when Daniel Bryan seemed destined to never wrestle again, and Jinder Mahal was WWE Champion.

WWE like to throw this phrase around far too much, but it's a legitimate 'dream match'. Whilst I'll admit we have had our fingers burnt with this promise in the past, two of the greatest wrestlers of our generation should be able to put on a classic in their sleep, especially considering how well their two styles compliment each other.

Styles' record-breaking title reign may not be as impressive as the WWE would have you believe, and Bryan's return hasn't quite lived up to it's potential, but if there ever was a match that could change everyone's opinion in one night, it's this.

Many will moan that these two will be overshadowed by whatever Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman are doing with the Universal Championship, but the fact that Styles v Bryan for a title is taking place at all in WWE is one of the best things in wrestling right now.
