10 Best Thrown Together WWE Tag Teams
5. Chris Jericho & Big Show
It's easy to look back at the brilliant tag team formed by Chris Jericho and Big Show - collectively "JeriShow" in 2009 and label it a stroke of genius on the part of the WWE creative team.
But don't forget: this was a complete accident. Originally, Y2J was supposed to be paired up with Edge after the duo won the Unified Tag Team Titles at The Bash in June, only for the latter to go down with injury just a week later.
In his stead, Big Show was given one of the belts, taking advantage of a little-known and seldom-used rule that allows a wrestler to replace his partner with another if they are struck by injury (which they totally didn't just make up on the spot).
The rest is history. These two were absolutely brilliant together both inside the ring and out, collectively elevating WWE's tag division to heights not seen for several years as they battled fellow main event groups like D-Generation X in headline spots on pay-per-view.
