Monday Night Raw's reigning Tag Team Champions very much fit the profile of a duo thrown together by circumstance, having both led relatively successful singles careers prior to being paired up in late 2016.

In fact, you may recall that they were actually at each other's throats for much of the preceding six months, a back and forth feud that ended when they bumped into each other in a bar and decided to beat the hell out of all the other revellers for kicks and giggles.

Since then, they've captured the tag straps on no fewer than four occasions, seeing off The New Day, The Hardy Boyz and The Shield - or, put differently, perhaps the three most popular two-pieces currently in the company - in the process.

While fans of Cesaro, in particular, still mourn the fact that their boy is forever being overlooked for a run in the main event, there are much worse places to be than in one of the hottest tag team acts anywhere in wrestling.
