8. The Wolves

It’s too bad that The Wolves didn’t join TNA a few years earlier, as there would have been a lot more tag teams for them to battle. Throughout most of their run in the company, there’s generally only been a couple of other teams in the entire division to speak of. Still, if you’re going to have a small tag division, it’s not bad to have Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards among the employed.

The two joined the company in a time of transition, with TNA switching networks. To create a little buzz, new authority figure MVP brought them in, to give Impact some fresh faces. The Wolves soon engaged in an entertaining Best-of-5 Series with The Dirty Heels, and had short feuds with The Bromans and Brian Myers and Trevor Lee.

If Davey hadn’t spent so much time on the sidelines with injuries, and if The Wolves had a stronger division to compete in, they would be ranked higher here. They’re still together at the moment, so it’s likely they will continue to create a stronger legacy in the company.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
