Whether you know him best as Luke Gallows or Doc Gallows, you've probably done your best to forget that Gallows also had a two-year run in TNA, as part of the Aces & Eights stable that started off well and simply dragged on and on and on. After wrestling a couple of dark matches, Gallows arrived in TNA in November 2012 and was billed as D.O.C, which stood for 'Director of Chaos'.

Well, there wasn't so much in the way of chaos with D.O.C at the helm, as Aces & Eights quickly went from biker gang marauders to seemingly losing every time they came within ten yards of Sting or Kurt Angle. Before the sun had set on Summer in 2013, D.O.C was gone.

Whilst it is somewhat understandable considering his position in the faction story, Gallows never actually received a single title shot during his time in TNA. Just two months after returning to WWE, he finds himself in one this coming Sunday.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
