The very nature of a traditional Survivor Series match means that quite often there is a sole survivor, sometimes two, and three on very rare occasions. This match, although hardly the most dramatic or breathtaking match in the PPV's history, delivered a whitewash result for the faces - something only accomplished three times since Survivor Series' inception. Although placed in the same team as the infinitely more establish foursome of Degeneration-X and the Hardy Boyz, CM Punk stole the show here by drawing a raucous crowd reaction.
