10 Best Traditional WWE Survivor Series Performers
7. Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler actually has a Survivor Series overall record comparable to John Cena, and identical to The Rock (although with slightly fewer stakes on the line across his matches). However, Dolph earns his spot on this list because of his stellar record in the elimination stipulation. He ties for first in the wins column with five and is a two-time sole survivor, outlasting the rest of the pack in both 2012 and 2014.
That second win gave him the clout to be seriously considered among the great performers of this pay-per-view. With three men remaining for Team Authority, Ziggler pulled off his best Shawn Michaels impression, only to go one step further than Mr WrestleMania, winning the whole thing with an assist from a debuting Sting.
Had WWE booked him properly, Ziggler could have been his generation's answer to HBK; an arrogant, smarmy heel or a heart-on-sleeve face who would put on technical, emotional classics every time he went out to the ring. Alas, alongside his World Heavyweight Championship runs (yes, he won it twice), his Survivor Series exploits - 2014, in particular - may be Ziggler's high watermark.
