Believe it or not, the death-defying spot that saw The Undertaker quite literally throw Mankind off the top of the cell and through the announce table was planned. Mick Foley suffered a concussion and a badly dislocated shoulder as he crashed into the Spanish commentator's desk. While being carted down the ramp and to the back for treatment, Foley somehow got off the stretcher and made his way back to the top of the cell. For the brief moment the match was happening before the first epic bump, the two 300 pounders were breaking through the cell's roof. It looked like nothing more than your common cable ties had been used to hold the roof panels in place which quite frankly, wasn't enough. After another brief exchange on top of the cage 'Taker went for a Chokeslam, and due to Foley being out of it he didn't get off his feet. Even so, he was driven into the mesh and still managed to break through the ceiling, crashing to the mat below. This second major bump wasn't supposed to happen. A steel chair followed him down and landed on his head. Mankind suffered a dislocated jaw, smashed teeth and severely bruised kidneys, on top of the injuries he'd already suffered from earlier in the match. Of course, he'd suffer even more injuries as the match continued, in what has to be a record for most injuries sustained during a single WWE match. Even though his body wouldn't have thanked him for it the next morning, Mick Foley will be eternally grateful the cell's roof decided to give way for that second bump as it cemented his legacy as the Hardcore Legend in the eyes of the WWE Universe.
