While WWE persists with pushing Roman Reigns as though he is the most in-demand Superstar on the roster, Dean Ambrose has rapidly become the adopted underdog of the WWE Universe. Having been involved in main event matches and coming up short - mostly in situations that also involve Roman Reigns - WWE fans have rallied around Ambrose and are begging for him to become a major player in WWE rather than being constantly booked in honorable losses. Placing Dean Ambrose in even a one-month program with John Cena would be excellent to watch. Although the two have met in the ring before, the WWE landscape has shifted significantly for Ambrose in the past 12 months. Pitting the two against each other would be like placing WWE corporate's man against the WWE Universe's man, and having Ambrose come out on top could easily segue into a more successful main event run for The Lunatic Fringe.
