John Cena's WWE World Heavyweight Championship program with Brock Lesnar in 2014 made for some intriguing viewing, especially with Lesnar treating Cena like a ragdoll and claiming the championship at SummerSlam in the most one-sided beating of the 15-time champion we've ever seen. While there was a follow-up to the contest, the feud itself was left unresolved and came off as unfulfilling, as Lesnar disappeared with the title and Cena engaged in a feud with The Authority. Whether this was done intentionally to allow a future reprise or not is a matter of opinion. Either way, the rivalry needs to culminate somehow, and there is more than enough ammunition to fuel a rivalry between John Cena and Brock Lesnar that doesn't require the involvement of a championship to be entertaining.
