2. Pass The Torch To Roman Reigns
In theory, creating a popular WWE good guy isn't all that difficult; have the Superstar go over in multiple feuds and slap the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on him and you're good to go. In reality, making a modern star babyface is the single most difficult task WWE creative team members will find themselves doing, and is a quick way to induce a heart condition or a migraine at the very least. WWE has dedicated nearly 24 months to making Roman Reigns the successor to John Cena, and a large portion of the WWE Universe is rejecting the push like a cheetah neglecting its weak offspring. That's where John Cena comes in. If WWE is going to be committed to Roman Reigns, the company needs to stop at nothing to make sure Reigns becomes the face of the company. The most effective way to do that is to trump the current face of WWE: John Cena. Unlike when Hulk Hogan passed the torch to The Rock and Rocky handed it over to Cena himself, John Cena is not exactly coming to the end of his in-ring career which makes this a more difficult task. On the other hand, a feud between Cena and Reigns, in which Cena is the benefactor for the younger performer, would make for an unpredictable program with Reigns' success seemingly not guaranteed, which would be the complete opposite of Reigns' current feud with Triple H.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
