As fate would decree, The Ultimate Warrior would never get another chance to say goodbye. Therefore, his 2014 WWE Hall of Fame induction was vitally important if the McMahon family ever wanted to make amends with an estranged star Vince (in particular) had always had a rocky relationship with. Thankfully, 2014 mended fences between McMahon and Warrior.

Not only that, the following night on Raw allowed Warrior to speak from the heart about following one's dreams. The motivational speech encapsulated the spirit of The Ultimate Warrior almost as well as those over-the-top promos during the late-80s did. Visibly emotional, Warrior's words carried weight because of his natural intensity.

24 hours later, the man was dead. As sad as his heart attack was, at least he had the opportunity to experience closure with WWE, his fans, and his own character. The parting shot of Warrior pointing towards the heavens as he left the ring on Raw is chilling today.
