10 Best Ways WWE Could Bring Back Its Missing Wrestlers
9. The Undertaker
How many retirements can The Undertaker
have?
We all thought it was Roman Reigns, we all thought it was AJ Styles, we all thought it was the Last Ride documentary. Then came Survivor Series 2020 in which we got ANOTHER retirement from Taker. There does not seem to be an end to this story.
It seems like WWE is waiting until crowds can return before we see The Undertaker again in one last match (or before they are allowed back to Saudi Arabia) but tis match needs to be perfect. None of The Undertaker's previous "retirements" have felt like he is putting over the new guy. Maybe his match with Roman, but that still did not feel like it cemented a new top star.
There is only one person who needs the win over The Undertaker and that is Bray Wyatt.
2020 saw WWE book The Fiend into the ground, removing all the mystique and intrigue from the character. Having The Fiend be the one who calls out The Deadman for one final match could make for a great story with some really great imagery. This should culminate in a final WrestleMania match for The Undertaker, where he gracefully loses to The Fiend.
The Undertaker needs to elevate a new star before he retires, and The Fiend is the logical choice.
