10 Best WCW Moments Ever

Akin to John Cena turning his back on children and going full-blown heel today, Hulk Hogan's turn to the dark side in 1996 still hits hard. According to Eric Bischoff, Hulk went back and forth on the decision. Right up until dropping the leg on Randy Savage during the main event of Bash At The Beach '96, Hogan was said to be unconvinced turning was the right thing to do.

Looking back, it most certainly was. Aligning himself with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, Hulk criticised the fans for their treatment of him - even though he had come to help WCW. As all manner of items were thrown from the stands, Hogan then formed the New World Order and revolutionised the promotion.

It still sends a chill up the spine to watch his speech today. A section of WCW fans had been booing Hulk, yet they never expected that he would turn his back on the red and yellow good guy routine. If younger fans only watch one moment on this list, make it the formation of the nWo.
