10 Best Worked Shoots In WWE History

3. The Miz Tees Off On Daniel Bryan

In 2016, WWE's decision to bring back the brand split was great news for WWE talent. Separate rosters meant more TV time and additional opportunities for stars to make a name for themselves, and it wouldn't take long for one mid-card act to step up to the plate.

Appearing on SmackDown post-show, Talking Smack, The Miz took full advantage of his unfiltered mic time and made himself the talk of the wrestling world overnight. The loose parameters of the Network exclusive show allowed Miz to go off-script and cut a promo which would never have been green-lit under the scripted confines of SmackDown TV.

Daniel Bryan was the instigating party in this scenario, labeling Mike Mizanin a "coward" and accusing him of being "too soft". The Miz flew off the handles at these accusations and things got extremely personal when he let loose on his inactive accuser.

Flipping the script, Miz turned the tables on Bryan accusing him of being a coward for not quitting and plying his craft outside of WWE. Even Maryse and Renee Young, who were in attendance for the whole tirade, looked noticeably uncomfortable watching it all unfold.

The personal nature of the attack made for gripping TV and the outburst was easily one of the best promos of Miz's career.
