10 Best World Titles Changes On Raw
5. Roman Reigns - December 14, 2015
WWE has spent the better part of two years trying to make Roman Reigns the top babyface in the company, and it simply hasn't worked. It didn't work when he won the 2015 Royal Rumble, it didn't work when he headlined WrestleMania 31, and it didn't work when he finally won the WWE World Championship at Survivor Series 2015.
For a couple of weeks, though, it seemed that it did work. At TLC 2015, Reigns nearly captured the WWE World Championship from Sheamus, but interference from The League of Nations kept the title where it was. A furious Reigns then attacked Triple H, drawing rare cheers from the crowd.
The following evening, Vince McMahon set up a title rematch between Reigns and Sheamus, with the stipulation added that if Reigns lost, he would be fired from WWE. From there, the two engaged in a long, heated contest that saw Reigns punch out McMahon en route to pinning Sheamus for the belt. After the win, the crowd in Philadelphia - the same place where Reigns won the Rumble - chanted "You deserve it!"
It didn't last, but it was an impressive evening for "The Guy" and WWE.
