5. Inferno Match

Wrestlers can work a punch or a Tombstone Piledriver, but they can't really work fire. With that in mind, the Inferno match - which happened four times between 1998 and 2006 - was always a sight to behold, even if the matches in question weren't the best of the best.

The match was a staple for Kane, who according to WWE lore, was burned and presumed dead in a childhood fire set by his brother, The Undertaker. That seemed to make Kane comfortable around fire - unless he got too close. The brothers clashed in the first Inferno match at Unforgiven 1998, with flames rising up from under the ropes and the object of the match being to set one's opponent on fire.

Needless to say, it couldn't have been comfortable working around so much fire, and the match was more spectacle than athletic contest. Undertaker won, tossing Kane's foot in the flames. In subsequent matches, Kane would lose to Undertaker and Triple H, which pretty much had to happen, given that Kane wore a full-body costume. The match came out of mothballs in 2006, where Kane finally won in a bout with MVP, before making a rare return for Bray Wyatt's 'Ring of Fire' contest opposite 'The Big Red Machine' at Summerslam 2013.
