10 Best WrestleMania Endings Ever

1. WrestleMania 30 - The Fans Get What They Want

In years to come, fans will look back on WrestleMania 30 as the event in which the WWE finally nailed it again. After a string of disappointing endings featuring overblown box-office matches between John Cena and The Rock, as well as the incredibly deflating Miz vs Cena main event of 2011, the magic was eventually recaptured to perfection last year. A testament to the return of simple storytelling, the WWE suddenly seemed to realise that - hey - the guy universally, rabidly beloved by the fans should probably be allowed to capitalise upon his popularity. After a masterful tease (Bryan's title win and immediate betrayal at the hands of Triple H in the summer of 2013), the odds were stacked against the vegan warrior from the start of the show. Triple H, characteristically allowing ego to get in the way, promised Daniel a spot in the main event if he could beat him at the beginning of the show. He did, and the fans' excitement grew. By the time he kneed Batista's face off and slapped him in the "Yes!' lock, the entire wrestling world seemed to be cheering him to victory. Batista tapped and the universe was right again. Despite not being the most influential or era-defining ending in WrestleMania history, last year's conclusion is the best because - quite simply - it is the perfect example of classic storytelling, the very concept at the heart of professional wrestling itself.
