10 Best Wrestlers In The World Today Over 40

1. Bobby Lashley (40)

This feels a bit like cheating, as Lashley just turned 40 in July this year, but he fits the criteria, so he not only make the list, but he tops it.

If you’re not watching TNA right now, you should give it a shot. Lashley is one of the best heels in the business. He doesn’t take crap from anyone, he’s believable on the mic and he backs it all up in the ring. If you’d told me five years ago that I would someday write that about him, I’d think you were crazy. Then I would run away from you.

If you saw Lashley and were told he was 30, you’d likely not argue about that claim. His athletic ability is still incredible and his physique remains unbelievable for someone of any age.

It would be a shame if he doesn’t continue to age as well as he has in the next few years, as he’s improved so dramatically since his WWE debut that it will be interesting to see if he still continue to get better.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
