10 Best Wrestlers In WWE Over The Age Of 40

Back in his prime, Kane was inarguably one of the best big men of all time. Today though, having turned 50 back in April, those prime years are now well and truly behind him.

Kane’s still listed as a part of the SmackDown roster, although he hasn’t wrestled for the company since December 2016. Juggling a campaign to run for mayor in your local county will do that for your wrestling career. His last televised match was against Luke Harper on SmackDown in November of last year, and though he was clearly moving much slower than he used to, he still managed to go almost 11 minutes. Still, his advanced years, not to mention the 25 years of wrestling wear-and-tear he’s taken, mean he’s no longer amongst the standout performers in the over-40 club.

Luckily, he’s got a pretty great in-ring legacy to rest upon, including multiple World titles and possibly the greatest ever debut in company history. Things could be worse, I guess.
