10 Best Wrestlers Who Never Held The IMPACT World Championship

6. Jay Lethal

Jay Lethal was in IMPACT Wrestling for six years, and never lifted the World Championship. When you consider how great Lethal is these days, this is genuinely mind-boggling.

The now-former two-time Ring Of Honor World Champion seems like someone who should have had quite a lengthy run as IMPACT's top guy. He bagged six runs with the X Division Championship, of course, but this isn't IMPACT's top title. 'The Franchise' was just never deemed worthy enough of holding IMPACT's World Championship, for whatever reason.

He was forever stuck as an X Division guy, breaking into the doubles division in his latter IMPACT years alongside Xavier Woods FKA Consequences Creed. That's not to say his X Division work wasn't great because it most certainly was; he was essentially part of the next generation following the era of AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Samoa Joe.

The only problem with this is that Lethal could have achieved so much more during his time with the Anthem-helmed promotion. You need only take one glimpse at what he's accomplished in the past decade since returning to Ring Of Honor to see the stark contrast.

Two-time World Champion, one-time Pure Champion, two-time World Television Champion, one-time World Tag Team Champion, Survival of the Fittest winner, Grand Slam Champion - yeah, you get the jist.
