10 Best Wrestlers Who Never Held The IMPACT World Championship

7. Matt Morgan

Take one look at this big beefy boy, and ask yourself the question, "How did Matt Morgan fail in both WWE and IMPACT Wrestling?"

The guy was with IMPACT from 2007 until 2013, failing to ever lift the World Championship once during his six or so years under contract with the then-Total Nonstop Action. It's crazy to think of. 'The Blueprint' was more than capable in the ring and had decent charisma, so why didn't IMPACT want to have him represent their company as World Champion?

He'd had numerous title opportunities at winning the strap, of course, the first of which came against Sting and defending champion Kurt Angle at the 2009 Hard Justice pay-per-view, but he was never able to lift it. It simply didn't make sense.

This is one of those instances IMPACT really let a talent flop massively when they had genuine main event potential. Morgan legitimately could have had one or two decent runs as the World Champion, each one complete with some marquee title contests and standout rivalries.

Instead, IMPACT's creative time decided that the best thing for him was to partake in needless World Tag Team Championships scenes alongside both Hernandez and Crimson. Seriously, they couldn't have made this guy the World Champion?
