8. Frank Turner - The Next Storm

Frank Turner has a come a long way from his days in Million Dead, and is unquestionably one of the biggest artists in Britain today. He seems to churn out albums at will, with this year seeing 'Positive Songs for Negative People' released.

One of the singles was a song called 'The Next Storm', and features Turner getting his botty handed to him by none other than Phil 'CM Punk' Brooks. Punk looks pretty darn miffed throughout, and Turner looks incredibly small next to our (former) hero.

After a beating from Punk, Turner makes the heroic comeback after the middle eight, finding a way to defeat Punk after a pretty lame elbow drop. Punk and Turner have strangely similar career paths, starting out in hardcore punk circles, reaching serious mainstream success whilst not losing the punk ideals that got them there in the first place.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
