10 Best Wrestling Entrance Themes Of WWE's Ruthless Aggression Era
8. Undertaker (You're Gonna Pay)
Much can be said for The Undertaker's less-than-deceased personas. Many will simply argue that they didn’t work and should be glossed over when looking back at his illustrious career. To do this would be doing a huge disservice to some of the legend's greatest works. After the slightly podgy Biker act and hopping from Kid Rock to Limp Bizkit for entrance themes, Undertaker cut his hair and adopted a more callous attitude.
The new 'Big Evil' character was different. Gone was the mysticism and pageantry of his dead days, gone were the Southern “good old boy” overtones of his biker spell, now 'Taker was interested in nothing more than destroying opponents and being at the top of the pile in WWE.
This new theme began life as an instrumental but was taken to another level when vocals were added. The looming footsteps gave way to lyrics that, within the very first line , told you all you needed to know when you saw someone standing up against the CEO of Deadman Inc…”You’ve don’t it now, you’ve gone and made a big mistake…”
The theme is simple, no nonsense and menacing, the perfect mirror to the superstar it was written for.
