10 Best Wrestling Entrance Themes Of WWE's Ruthless Aggression Era

5. Christian - Just Close Your Eyes (Waterproof Blondes/ Story Of The Year)

Captain Charisma went through his fair share of different entrance themes during the Ruthless Aggression era . In 2002 he was 'At Last' on his own with an operatic arrangement before moving onto a rather generic instrumental track that did little for a superstar struggling to connect with audiences.

When Christian first started using Just Close Your Eyes as his theme, something clicked. The overall dramatic nature was akin to his operatic theme but there was a new flamboyant arrogance laced with an attitude that had been lacking. Whereas before he had been seen as a very one dimensional cocky heel, Christian developed a new sense of confidence that only flourished in coming years.

The song is far from the blood pumping soundtrack to send anyone roaring down the aisle but the vocals of both versions beautifully convey the feeling of grandeur required.
