One little side-note, I really don't understand why WWE's female wrestlers rarely have last names. Sure, things have improved in the last year with the addition of Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch et al, but does this mean we can't now update all the one-name wonders in the division? Naomi, Bayley, Charlotte, Paige and the rest could do with it.

Up until the brand split Naomi had carved herself a fairly comfortable niche as midcard heel in the women's division. She'd performed well in the role over the last couple of years, but something was desperately needed to freshen her up. She was a veteran, but she was beginning to become a pretty boring one.

Enter a whole host of glowing.

Who knew, but a wrestler can instantly become more interesting with the addition of a mass of UV lighting and fun dancing. Naomi's glow persona has revitalised her career, and that elusive championship reign could be a real prospect in the future.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
